Sand Cats appear like they never age. They retain their kitten like innocence throughout their life. They are found mostly in the desert areas of North Africa, Arabia, Central Asia, and Pakistan. They are near threatened species because of the illegal pet trade and sports hunting.

Sand Cats aren’t just irresistibly cute, they are damn well adapted for their environment as well. They can easily survive from between -5 °C (23 °F) to 52 °C (126 °F), and can live off just the little water in their food for months. It’s sad to know that only 61% newly born Sand Cats make it to day 30 due to maternal neglect. Because they are prone to respiratory illness, they unsuitable as pets.
